... the tight greenish pine cones for the approaching winter. Yesterday, the squirrels were directly overhead dropping cones on our roof. MDM yelled "incoming" as I urged him to shoo them away from our RV. What a loud sound the small pincone made.

There was some really neat observation points, where we were able to have water pretty well on every side of us. We then left Chicago and spent the night at a highly over priced KOA campground in Union Illinois (about 1.5 hour out of Chicago).
