          ... of time. Gave up car. Had not managed to find a garage to get fuel as we were supposed to give it back full. However man there let us off and en took us to terminus outside where we needed to be. Gave him a generous tip. Another man took pity on us inside and took our cases off us put em on a trolley.           ... Park where the parade ended and the activities for the rest of the day were to be held. We took our chairs and found a spot next to a family with a son (3) and twin daughters (2 years old). They were lovely. Linton said he thought the whole town was there and it looked like it. It was fun with lots of candies (lollies) being thrown to the kids but none for the oldies. Oh well! There were lots of floats, marching girls, a band, veterans and ...

          ... state. We camped at Harrington Beach State park - another beautiful beach park. if you are wondering where these beaches are, they are the lake - Lake Michigan at the moment. I forget sometimes that it is a lake (a huge one) and it is complete with beaches, waves, stormy weather with lots of shipwrecks and lots of lighthouses.
