    ... home, and life in the Philippines is most definitely chaotic but the pace of life can never compare. I love my relaxed, timeless schedule and mindset in the Philippines, but whenever I come home it seems it is a few weeks of bookings...filled with reuniting, celebrating, appreciating, catching up, eating, laughing, sharing stories, and remembering what home is all about :)

    ... from the exit of GM. After a short lunch, we drove on through the Michigan countryside where we viewed our first deer running across an open meadow, a beautiful sight. We also saw quite a few wild turkey by the side of the road.
    We reached the Canadian border at Port Huron where we were met with another downpour from the same storm. Our border wait took about five minutes and a pleasant agent welcomed us and we were free to enter. Welcome to Canada, eh!

    ... and Indiana, but once we got to Michigan, we found that most of the farms were hidden behind trees and bushes. This would be a perfect place to hide a still, or grow certain questionable crops because without an airplane, you would have no idea what your neighbor does for a living.
