... to The Warehouse Club in the 1980s (now the home of blood-sucking lawyers), this is the city that gave birth to 'House' music. Our first day in Chicago we took a trip into the city centre - we were staying just a few stops outside the city but an easy 10 minutes on the subway. The pier was buzzing. The sun had started to set which gave us awesome views of the city skyline. Part of the pier was under construction but the rest of it had things to cater for anyone and everyone. Restaurants, cruises, rides, bars, live music, you name it. There was even a wedding reception in the garden area.
