          ... have for past 10 days getting here. We even cooked outside tonight, braving the tiny mosquitoes which attempted to devour us as we enjoyed our first fresh corn on the cob of the year cooked outside on our new single burner portable propane stove!

          ... AT&T dominated so lots of roaming charges) and couldn't locate an RV park on-line earlier in the day. I must say that Manitoba and Northern Ontario cell service sucks! It's virtually nonexistent! Fort Frances looks like it is really suffering since the closure of the pulp and paper mill last year.

          We took a walk after dinner and spotted our first wild life of the trip - a friendly skunk!

          ... few days where very enjoyable as Norma’s mum’s cousin Barb threw a huge BBQ, that also enabled me to meet so many of Norma’s friends and relatives, and I received loads of chocolate too!           ... back down thru the center of the state. The great scenery continued. My only negative would be that it was fairly flat so you had no great sweeping vistas. One final fun fact. Minnesota's highest point ( Eagle Mt. 2300 ft.) is only 13 miles from its lowest point ( Lake Superior 601 ft.). A great state, well worth the visit, but bring or acquire a boat for maximum enjoyment. Ever ...
