A travel blog entry by adelipenguin on Sep 26, 2015

Leaving today but not flying until 5.20 got checked in. Will be 11.20 at home. Left hotel around 10.30. Called into Port Washngton for a couple of hours parked up. There was a market on. It was mainly veg and fruit. Very unusual looking pumpkins etc. No good buying anything now. But worth a look. We called at a cafe and had a sandwich and drink sitting outside. Left about 1.30 and set off for Chcago. Arrived at car rental n the airport ...

          Grrr... Packing!

Hello- I will be leaving for my big trip in a couple days and I need to pack! To pack for Hungary, Turkey and Paris is an interesting combination. You need to bring good walking shoes, and flip flops for beaches. For churches you need to cover your shoulders and knees but you need to bring swimsuits for pools. For a long trip do not overpack! ...

We cannot wait to hike across glaciers as they flow through rainforests to the Tasman Sea, experience the 8th Wonder of the World - ...

... so mesmerized by my surroundings and that magnificant hair sculpture on her head.

I told you I'd take you off the beaten path and sure enough, major, major score right out of the starting blocks here on day one. Graeme got a weird look on his face, and I thought maybe the surroundings were overwhelming him for he is not as trained as I in effortlessly absorbing this display of humanity. ...

          23 Story Drop

I missed taking a photo of this (I mean, the window). In the bathtub there was a window and when open, there was a 23-story sheer drop to the ground. The shampoo, conditioner and soap were stored on the ledge.

Two days after I arrived, one of the bottles was missing and no one remembered taking it out of there. I didn't see it drop (therefore no photo) but the wind must have taken it.
