          ... or eggs. We were going to eat them. How would that have any effect on the American poultry business? So, we are going to buy some American chicken and if we get American bird flu, we'll sue..... As a note, the bird flu issue goes both both Canadian and American points of entry the guards will confiscate any raw or frozen chicken products...           ... Biking: Tom biked 350 miles. I biked 142 miles. We biked the entire Heartland Trail, around Pike Bay on the Migizi trail, around Lake Bemidji, portions of the Paul Bunyan trail and the Mississippi River Trail, and various other Minnesota country roads.

          Church Attended: Evangelical Free Church of Bemidji

          Other activities: Shopping in Walker, ForestEdge Winery, Movies in Bemidji (Inside Out, Spy, Jurassic World), kayak races, ...

          ... six fish to take home. After fishing, we helped Dad take the boat out of the lake. Beth and I keep trying to get Dad to slow down, but he insists on doing things himself, even if it results in a little tumble now and then. He got his shoes wet today when he took a small spill into the lake, but he was all right, and finally allowed us to help him a bit more.

          There's really not much new to report today. More fishing...we (Tom, Linda, Seth & Maddie) went out to Pike Bay and brought home 21 fish (17 Rock Bass & 4 Perch). More biking...for Tom. More Kayaking...for Linda and Deb. More game-playing, swimming, and just having fun...for all the kids.

          ... Each time we passed over it we would pull in 2-4 more fish. We ended up with a total of 31 for the morning...16 perch, 12 rock bass, 2 bluegill/sunfish, and the walleye. Not bad for a morning of fishing!

          The afternoon was spent cleaning fish (Tom), reading and napping (Linda), and playing games and swimming (the kids). The weather was absolutely beautiful ...
