Traveled today from Grand Portage, MN to Bemidji, MN. On the way, we missed Betty's Pies. The parking lot was packed full, no place for the truck and coach.

Bemidji is the home of Paul Bunyan and his blue ox Babe. We checked out the statue by Lake Bemidji while on our way to dinner. We will spend the overnight here and head to Detroit Lakes, MN tomorrow.

We keep looking for wifi so we can people posted on our progress...even stooping so low as to go to McD's to see if there was luck yet, but we will keep checking. ... not too hot, not too cool, and lots of sunshine! We grilled some burgers and hot dogs for supper, and then had a relaxing evening with Paul, Melissa, and Melissa's parents, sitting around a campfire making s'mores and sipping wine. Seth regretted not taking his guitar along, but tried to serenade us on his mandolin for a bit. It was a nice end to another great day!
