          Set out to get into the US through Port Huron along the way we phoned our youngest grandson Maddoc to wish him a very happy 5th birthday with a bad rendition of the old favourite song.

          Made our way to the border got all the fruit accept an apple and pear confiscated bad people we are, anyway on we went. Drove longer than we wanted but made it to a campground.

          We set the alarm for 6:30 so we could be to the 7:00 hot breakfast. It was a bit disappointing (at this point we are in St Catherines Ontario). The boys ate a few pancakes. I made lunches for the car ride, and we got going soon after. I knew our route had us right next to Lake Ontario, so I pulled over to see it as soon as I could.           ... Silent Night" in over 300 languages. Jim found an interesting fact about the reason "Silent Night" was performed with guitar for its first performance. The organ was in need of repair so it wasn't playable hence the guitar. He said if he had known he would have fixed the organ in time for the performance!

          We head for Petoskey, MI Sunday. This stop should really be a step up for our stay. So stay tuned for the latest!
