He he.. Stinki - stinky! Da vi var ...
Mar Del Plata, Capital Federal District, Argentina logbDon´t even think about coming to a nice and sandy beach when you come to Mar Del Plata before mid January. I would say you can expect a desert full of unbrellas with noon on the beach. But the beach walk is nice and amazing view. Make sure to check out the seals on the port where the wreck ships are. They definitely worth the visit. Also try any of the ...
Mar Del Plata, Argentina canadiansmileyHmmm, Mar del Plata wasn´t exactly what I expected. It was recommended by Melissa in Puerto Madryn as a beach resort to break up the journey to Buenos Aires. I thought golden beaches, cafes by the coast... It actually turned out to be Argentina´s Costa del Sol - massive beaches of regimented beach huts with a few leather-skinned retired folk on deck chairs. It also wasn´t that busy, it still a month ahead of peak season and a bit windy. Well, very windy ...
Mar del Plata, Central Argentina, Argentina johnsa32After 10 fairly intense days in Buenos Aires, we were happy to arrive in Mar del Plata, a laid back beach town on the coast just 6 hours south of the capital. We immediately realised that we were essentially in the Brighton of Argentina (but with sand instead of pebbles on the beach). It is a summer-city based mostly around its proximity to the sea and has these English-looking brick buildings that line the ...
Mar Del Plata, Argentina thelepkisWe got in touch with a friend of Sherry´s, many of you might know him, Austin. He lives in Mar del Plata and since we were passing through, we stayed a night there. Mar del Plata is the summer home to Porteños (people from Buenos Aires). It is apparently, literally packed butt cheek to butt cheek on the beach during the summer. However, thanks to the earth´s axis being ...
Mar del Plata, Argentina theprochaskasWe arrived in Mar Del Plata on Monday 28th from Buenos Aires by bus, thank god this bus was only 5 hours and not 15or more. We had initally only planned to spend 2 days there but signed up for spanish lessons so we ended up staying for 5days. We didn't do to much other than the spanish lessons. We had 4 different lessons that ranged from 1.5hours to 3hours and we had thursday free because it was labour day. The lessons went fine but unfortunately we're not ...
Mar del Plata, Argentina m_d... flat countryside dotted with farms and pastures. Actually, it was a dead ringer for much of the US Midwest, complete with the intermittent huge fiberglass dairy cow sculptures, and even an occasional John Deere billboard alongside the highway!
In the summer, Mar del Plata is a bustling town filled with tourists attracted to the ...
