Woke at 5.30am, thinking it was 6.30, and got up and dressed ready to leave for Detroit. So spent the extra time sending emails. Left Findlay at 7.30am and arrived at Detroit Airport at 9am approx. No traffic jams or construction work to hold us up, though they were working on the interstate highway to the border in Ohio. In Michigan the roads are rougher since the state isn't very financial. Cindy is busy all the day with doing things for the children - changing nappies, preparing lunch, cleaning up, feeding the babies, putting to bed, organising games and mediating squabbles with ...

A lovely friendly church with people to greet you at the door, name tags for the new Pastor to get to know you and members who come and talk to someone new. They had a modern band to play along while people sang - guitars, drums and lead singers - with the words displayed on a screen. Then we went home and Cindy began fixing lunch because her son ,James, his wife (Jessica) and their sons (Jacob and Jackson) ...

Sauder Pioneer Village

... school, working farm, horse and buggy rides, glass blowing, pottery shop. There was at least one person in each shop demonstrating the skill and had items for sale. I took many photos since it was the easiest way to bring things home! There was also a Barbershop Choir performing in the hall at the village today. Really really good - I bought one of their CDs. On way home we met up with Cindy's son and his family. This was in a town called "Bowling ...
