    So the last day of our holiday.. we again had breakfast downstairs at the hostel and then packed up all our bags, put on our togs, vacated our rooms and went back to the beach.

    We hired more deck chairs and umbrellas and then made ourselves most at home for the day. I think the only time we left the beach was to get ice cream and George and I went for lunch at a tapas place.

It is in these caves you will find the largest stalagmite (that's one that grows from the ground up) in Europe at 22m tall. The 'Queen of Pillars' is quite rare in that no stalactite hangs above to meet her half way, and whilst it looks like she's about to kiss the top of the cavern, it will take her another 5000 years to reach it.
