... at least for 2h! What a release! Just when I
stepped out of the bus to stretch by now it was 7h 30 am some big trucks
came in our direction. Wait this means if they can pass the truck was
gone and we could move and indeed within 2 minutes everyone was in the
bus and we continued the journey after a 10h wait. The road
would sometimes be very bad of course we were stuck in traffic jam the
next 30 minutes as in the other side even more buses and trucks ...

Danau maningjauWe arrived after the artic 13hr bus journey at brastaggi and headed to the bus terminal. Bus terminals are the worst place to be for general hassle we hate them "where are you going, what's your name, where are you from" it does not stop. I really needed to buy some stuff so we missed the first bus to danau meninjau and went shopping. We discovered when people call at you where are you going etc shopping and toilet are an excellent response. They either leave you to ...

After ...

... We headed into the tunnels and found the experience weird and creepy. When walking through the town, all of the locals would say hello and ask us for pictures. We felt famous. For food in the night, we headed back to the same street stall as last night, we both had noodle soup and again it was so tasty. After food we headed back to the hotel for an early night and a comfortable sleep. Beds are ...

... the zoo, oblivious to the animal cruelty happening in front of their eyes. This place left me scared.

    We moved on.

We found a bar to have a few beers and celebrate Iuri’s birthday. He wanted a steak but that was just impossible to obtain so we settled for some street food that turned out to be really delicious and cheap. And so went the 24th of May, nothing too exceptional but we did the best we ...
