... 30 minutes to Nice. The hotel was v good (and understanding of us changing booking a few times) but their wifi was flaky. I jiggled the router aeriel and that helped a little but the router nearest A&D's room was dead, not even a power supply. I resorted to relocating a power supply from another floor but the router was dead.

We left the Venice area and hopped on a train to Verona. It was a direct train and only took about an hour and a half. The Venice station was busy, but my first experience with train stations was pretty easy.
