Next we headed off to the nearby Lamberti Tower (everything is nearby given the small old town area) which is the tallest tower in the city. ... town and I could spend a whole weekend there. We departed Verona around 2:00 pm and headed to Azienda Agricola Gamba, where we had a guided tour and wine tasting. It was so beautiful and the wine was very good. We then headed back to Florence around 6:00 pm and got back by 9:00 pm. Very successful weekend in the cities of love.
