... along the boardwalk and scouted two potential dining spots. I will not bore you with more food pics; suffice it to say the meal was good - not exceptional. The setting was great along the Rhine in an old family run Gasthof Adler.

Tomorrow will be an easy drive back to Dan and Andrea's place - something under three hours.
Hope everyone is having a good Remembrance Day remembering what it was all about those many years ago!!

... museum ...well, not Al...but I only wanted to go to the shop...our guide last time and this time said don't miss it and they were right. Nothing we can't get in the states but it's a local tradition and the chocolates are DELICIOUS!! nice...I have treats to share!!
We did the "pub crawl" - and that is using the term broadly - I guess they meant 13 senior citizens walking slowly through ...

Early this morning, about 4.30, we sailed passed Frankfurt and onto Cologne, berthing at about 1pm. We opted for the city walking tour which was about 1.5 hour duration. We learnt about the history of Cologne, or Koln as it is called in Germany. With a population of 1 million, it's the 4th biggest city in Germany (behind Berlin, Hamberg, Munich). The Romans established a settlement at this location on the Rhine about 2000 years ago and it has has continuous settlement ever ...

... had one of our 'bed picnics'. We're looking forward to some sightseeing in Cologne tomorrow.

And our sightseeing day on Sunday got off to a great start with a Skype session with my lovely niece Rachel....oh it was so good to see her and her family's faces :) And we enjoyed a few laughs when she realised that we were laying in bed with just our top halves clothed...haha we unknowingly gave her a fright at one point!

... that was dominated by the bat.I think this, along with our fielding, again at a level above everyone else,was the difference. Credit to Lehman's leadership and to Clarke's use of the bowlers on the field.
