I'm having a funny day today; bizarrely, I feel like I have an early onset case of the travelling blues. I'm not even back in England yet... Excellent sign of things to come. I just can't bear the thought of going back to the UK, as much as I miss the family and friends etc, which I really do. I just feel super down about it. Moms birthday was yesterday! It was also Halloween, but I'm not sure the people of Düsseldorf were aware. Yesterday we arrived early in the morning after an overnight bus ride on a two deck bus. We searched for breakfast without any luck but we passed a small park and found our hostel easily. The eggs stopped as soon as we ran, and we were able to grab our trash and the rest of our food from the bench where we had been sitting without incident. Later, after dinner we ventured into Colognes nightlfe for a guided pub tour. This included 4 famous breweries. Mark made the most of this and had 2 beers to every body elses 1 beer. There were guests and crew on this tour. It was a fun evening. We continued partying once back on the boat to the early hours of the morning.
