This past weekend, Cheska and I decided to plan a last minute trip to Munich. With the weather as beautiful as it was, it was the perfect time to go! After arriving Friday afternoon, we explored the town a little and enjoyed a nice Bavarian style meatloaf sandwich in the middle of Marianplatz (or at least I enjoyed a meatloaf sandwich, Cheska is vegetarian). Mountains and cliffs, clear blue river, and sunny skies. Driving through the northern end of Italy towards Venice is something else. Cities and farms nestled in amongst mountain ranges and rolling hills. Vineyards on the edges of cliffs. So much greenery. It's absolutely beautiful! Can't wait for all of this week in ...
