A night camping with Lions
... which are of course not native to Africa.
We have an en-suite tent in the park and we have managed to arrive on feeding day - many many chickens.
I'll let the pictures tell the stories but we get BBQ'd for by a staff member & sleep through all sorts of Lion noises.........
This is also the source of my SA cricket joke - where do SA cricketers stay when in tour in England? - in hotels. Where do England cricketers stay when in SA? - with their parents - boom boom.

Misschien klinkt het alsof de sfeer op het bedrijf echt slecht is. Maar leuke collega’s met interessante verhalen zorgen ervoor dat dit minder opvalt. Ik krijg heel veel verhalen te horen over het land, gebeurtenissen etc. Erg, heel erg interessant en leuk! Dit zijn zaken die ik niet even op papier kan zetten, maar waarschijnlijk nog ...

... are, back in Cape Town! Tomorrow we are going on an all day wine tour for a present on our last day, so hopefully that will be fun, then Thursday we begin our journey back!! I think neither of us can quite believe we're here, after all this time planning/saving, it's all over :( But uni starts so soon we've got very little time to miss travelling before our next adventure begins! Spring Break '11 - Cape Town

A Fair View with a dash of Spice,,,
... of the entire range of Fairview and La Capra wines in their private tasting room. The best was saved for after the tasting, as we were treated to a visit to the goat tower. For those who don't know, Fairview is very well known for its cheese production across the road. They win at international competitions and make goat cheeses as well as cow.
