After leaving Dresden we headed to Prague. Once again Ruth and I missed a photo opportunity crossing the Czech border. We arrived in Prague mid afternoon. Quite a busy town. We were picked up from our hotel and driven up to the castle. Walked around the castle for ...

After making our transfer to Praha hlavní nádraží (main station), we still had 15 minutes to wait until our train came! Better earlier than late. Praha hl.n is quite modern inside although the outside walls are crumbling down and partly under renovation. Definitely no Grand Central ...

We now have 5 days riding and 4 overnight stays before we get to Assen for the MotoGP on Saturday 29th June. We tried to plot a route but everywhere we thought of for a day's destination seemed to be either too far or too close to ride! After much map searching and Tom Tom route planning, we made some decisions.

The ride today was to take us from Poland into the Czech Republic. ...

Kutna Hora is a UNESCO listed town and was amazingly once bigger than Prague. It use to have copper and silver mines making the town mine owners very wealthy. Once the mines were depleted, the population declined and is now only 20000 people. The town is about a 2 hours drive from Prague. The town is known for its church (the second biggest in Czech Republic) and ...
