... Cesky Krumlov is a major tourist destination, much like Banff, for visitors from all over the world. There were many Asian visitors from Japan, Hong Kong & South Korea. We took in a walking tour of the town, learning its history & visited the Krumlov Castle.

After 2.5 days in Krumlov, we took a bus back to Prague (this time a luxury bus with beverage service, movies & video games - a total opposite from the last bus). From there we took ...

I've been trying to eat Czech food so I ordered goulash--it was a bowl of roast beef covered in gravy with "dumplings" (bread) on the side. I didn't mention how steep the hill was to the restaurant . We now have 5 days riding and 4 overnight stays before we get to Assen for the MotoGP on Saturday 29th June. We tried to plot a route but everywhere we thought of for a day's destination seemed to be either too far or too close to ride! After much map searching and Tom Tom route planning, we made some decisions.

The ride today was to take us from Poland into the Czech Republic. ...

After almost no sleep, we had to get up, pack and vacate our room by 10am. We did manage to do this but everyone seemed a bit slower. We headed to find food and went in search of the Lennon wall. It's a really cool, evolving wall of art that just keeps getting added to day by day. We took lots of photos and went in search of the car. We packed up our belongings headed out the city. We kept getting asked if we were ok and did we see ...

... of European Catholicism. The silver museum was neat, we traveled through narrow rock walls with very little light, just as the miners did way back when. In fact, the guide made us turn off all of our lights to see what it would be like as a miner whose candle went out. Pitch black, not a pleasant experience if you're trapped and claustrophobic. Way back in the day, when that happened, the miners would search for a ...
