Since we maximized our time in Prague our first 2 days, we decided to spend today taking a side trip to Kutna Hora. It is a relatively small town about an hour outside of Prague. The highlights of the town are a "Bone Church" and Silver Mining. We first stopped at the Bone Church, which is decorated with actual human bones. The church & surrounding cemetery date back to 13th or 14th century. When the bones ...

Back in Anděl, we went to a local restaurant which was recommended to us by our Banff friend Lenka called ...

We now have 5 days riding and 4 overnight stays before we get to Assen for the MotoGP on Saturday 29th June. We tried to plot a route but everywhere we thought of for a day's destination seemed to be either too far or too close to ride! After much map searching and Tom Tom route planning, we made some decisions.

The ride today was to take us from Poland into the Czech Republic. ...

... the tour is down in the actual silver mines dug in the Middle Ages! So we think this might be fun. This also turned into one of my most unique experiences! They first had us put on little outfits, helmets and we each got a flashlight, I thought this was for show.. ooh no, we needed every part, pitch black, dripping wet and literally the mines were from the middle ages so ...
