The afternoon we arrived we did a tour of Pilsen’s historical underground. The tour was in Czech, but we had an audio guide in English, and it was interesting wandering the labyrinth of passageways, cellars and wells dating back to the 14th century. The tunnels were ...

... to leave for the mountains at 9.00 at the latest.

We invited everybody for a 16-kilometer walk in the mountains situated approx. 50 kilometers from Klatovy. The mountains are called "Sumava" in Czech or “Böhmerwald” in German (both names are used because the mountains are being shared by two countries – Czech Republic and Germany). ... all. We stopped to find some river side cliffs for a spot of climbing.

Climbing on limestone and mostly bolted at approx. 15 metres. It's the most picturesque spot with people kayaking, fishing, hiking, biking and generally chilling.

Ended up staying the night at Roviste campsite in a cabin. Sadly not a good night as Phil’s migraines struck ...

... we arranged a visit at my uncle´s who was willing to lend him one of his formal pants and shoes. He lives in Pribram which is a Czech city that has approx. 60 000 inhabitants and is situated 60 km to the southwest of Prague. Pribram has quite an interesting mining history so we decided to visit the local museum and one of the most famous mines.

We arrived in the Mining Museum at Brezove Hory at about 10.15. The welcome sign immediately advised us that ...
