... entire way down so that might of been why it took us almost 4 hours ;) haha When we got back to town dan and I searched out a place for dinner and we decided on Italian. Funny enough we met up with Ed a retired photographer from our group so we had an amazing dinner with him, excellent conversation and than headed over to meet some others from our group to have some more drinks and desert with them. Met the group for breakfast at 8.30 this morning. Is was a bit misty when we got up, but had cleared by about 10, and turned into a beautiful warm day. Brook wanted to do a tour of the oldest brewery in the region, that had been built to service the castle. They stopped brewing beer in about April this year as there wasn't enough demand compared to the brewing capacity. The brewery is now a museum and they are working on building a micro brewery next ...

... along the way, and as we headed up the top there was a steep climb up to the castle gardens. There was a section of very neat manicured hedges, and further up was a revolving amphitheater. I don't know what they use it for, but it was a giant viewing stand on a big concrete circle, which I assume spins around. Maybe it's used for garden plays?
