Unbelievably and refreshingly multicultural, a nice break from British stuffyness. Spent much of the flight being taught Portuguese by a complete stranger in the window seat.
I once remarked that Portuguese is a useless language, I stand utterly corrected.
My mom was operated recently but is back home now. Unfortunately she is not walking nor eating (only by tubes). She's very slim like I never saw her before in my life and ironically as it couldn't be, she looks like a saint: calm and accepting everything with a serenity of a saint. Any ways, thank you for reading that.
