Today we got up early, had breakfast at Isabel's house and were in Barão de Cocais for a workshop by 9am... a great bunch of teachers and we had a fun with them.
Tod gave a really nice talk, and we ended with a few activities.
The drive back was spectacular.
... a glass container in the freezer to cool it down. She put the glass container ontop of a frozen packet of meat and it slipped off, opened the freezer door and smashed on the floor :( Everyone was devastated, but we still managed to salvage a little bit of it and it was delicious. I just wished there was more.
... the road, where I ordered a huge bowl packed full of goodies, and it was probably the most delicious thing I've ever eaten. Afterwards, I literally couldn't move. I had eaten way too much food but luckily all I had to do was sit in the car on the way home.

It was time to head back to Belo Horizonte today. I enjoyed my time in the bush, it was nice to get out of the city for a while, but I'm ready to be back in the big smoke now. I've developed a throat infection over the last few days that is really hurting today, so first mission when I get back is the farmacy to pick up some antibiotics.
We managed to get a lift back to town with Marco's cousin who happened to be driving back today. It was cheaper than the bus ...

The rest of the day I spent cooking and studying. Nothing terribly exciting. Just because I have finished my English course, It doesn't mean I'm going to stop learning things.
