Working in Paradise
... We got to brainstorm and think of all the things we could do to make the lives of our respective countries easier and to improve the way everything gets done. Who knows if anything will change, but in those 4 days we really managed to come up with a lot.
Being there for work, I didn't get to see the sights, but it was a great experience nevertheless. Puerto Vallarta was a much quieter place than expected - a lot more local tourism, which is nice to see.

Today they served us a trio of soups; cream of broccoli, Fleur de Calabasa (made from squash flowers) and Sopa Azteca, which is also called tortilla soup as it contains cut up strips of tortilla. Day trip to San Sebastian
... In fact, the bus doesn't stop at San Sebastian itself but at La Estancia (around 15 km from San Sebastian). From there we find a cab that we shared with the two other Gringos that were on the bus. San Sebastian is very small and authentic. ... response to her first effort, “The Cuban Chronicles” was very positive so now she is on her next book about her love life in Mexico. She mentioned she has recently had her 50th birthday so I am not sure how many more books she hopes to write!
