I'm a Traveling Man
Nothing like an early start for a vacation. The only problem being I was so excited I could barely sleep. I spent a lot of time tossing and turning last night. I am happy to be on vacation. It is a new experience traveling solo for pleasure. So far it has been a good one. Too much solo business travel has prepped me for it, so I am good to go.

We climbed the 5 story tower to get a really nice view of the area. There are 2 other longer trails that allow one to learn more about the mangrove ecosystem and give nice views of the Intercoastal Waterway.
You can also canoe or kayak through the mangroves or on the lake. We rented a 2 man kayak for an hour and ...

It only took several weeks to get me back on the road, already late for the fishing season.

Historical Traveler Reviews Crowne Plaza Hollywood Beach
Make sure to visit the tiki bar/pool
Wonderful hotel!! just returned from a short stay, the hotel is new, all is well updated and rooms are quite spacious. The most outstanding aspect of the hotel, is the staff! All were very welcoming and helpful. Best place at the hotel is by the beautiful pool by the tiki bar! Make sure to be good to Lance, Carol, Lauren and Christine, these bartenders work hard to please and made our visit one worth just staying around the tiki bar and pool rather then venturing out elsewhere to often.
Thanks and cheers to them!! All were fantastic!
Food and drinks all good and also reasonably priced as are the rooms ...I hope they keep it this way as this now quiet relaxing hotel will grow more and more popular and we look forward to returning again.

Great Place, Excellent Location
What a great place! This is a new Crowne Plaza in Hollywood FL. I flew in to Ft. Lauderdale and the hotel was only minutes away and I flew out of Miami and that didn't even take 30 minutes to get to. The rooms are very spacious suites, with efficiencies. The beds are absolutely spectacular. Would definitely recommend to anyone to going to the area.
Great Experience
Attended 3 day meeting at the hotel. Staff was exceptional, food and beverage was outstanding. Rooms well maintained and clean. New hotel with resort amenties and service. Pool is on the intracoastal waterway with a great tiki bar.
Wow...what a Room!
I was recently lucky enough to attend a conference in this newly renovated hotel. My room was amazing...I had a corner room which had two balconies, one overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway and the other overlooking the ocean. The bed was one of the best beds I have ever experienced in a hotel and the walk-in tiled shower made me feel right at home. I will certainly stay here in June when I take the family down.
Loved the Pool!!
I loved the property. I just stayed there for a company conference and the hotel is spectacular. The food was outstanding the rooms were much more than I ever imagined. I loved the walk in shower - great touch. They have an infinity pool which was great. I will definitely be going back with my Family.
Best resort pool ever
Just returned to Houston from a three day meeting at this newly opened hotel. The whole place is just gorgeous, the rooms, restaurant and grounds are first class. I especially enjoyed the access to the ocean and the views of both the ocean and intercoastal waterway from my huge room. A new favorite for me!
Great New Property
Great new property, loved the proximity to the beach, friendly staff,
beautiful pool. A value for the price. Very convenient for us to Miami, restaurants and shopping.
Beautiful Hotel, Great Service
I stayed at this hotel for a conference. It's brand new with well trained, courteous staff. The food at each break and meal was top of the line. I would definitely recommend to travelers and will return for personal travel.
Wonderful hotel with outstandiing service
I recently stayed at this hotel for a meeting and was very impressed with the amenities and the service. The food was outstanding for every meal and I loved the tiki bar and the pool area. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Hollywood area.
Beautiful Hotel
This is a new hotel, and I must say it was wonderful to have everything so nice new and clean. The room was a regular king room that was spacious with a refrigerator and microwave. The balcony had views of the ocean and of the canal. The pool was gorgeous with a bar, and was beautifully appointed along the canal. It had a very relaxing atmosphere, and the staff was overly accomodating. We were ther on a Saturday night, and there were only a handful of people since this is a new hotel.
The beach is a short walk across the street. The only surprise was the $17.00 charge for parking which is per day. We were never informed at any point that there would be charge. Overall it was a very satisfying experience.
