... be struck gold with this one. Angela can't do enough for us and is most helpful. She gives us good info about the town and stays with us a while for a general chit chat. She also provides good info on the Expo which is being held in Milan as that's somewhere Helen wants to go. Early evening is spent exploring this quaint city. We take in a bar or two, and end up having a pleasant meal on a small Piazza. Udine has quite a cultured look and feel, and is not ready for 'Bodie and ...

... boat leaving and hence we actually departed Venice at around 7:55am. Upon arrival back at the Venice airport we just had to make a reasonably long track to car park number 5 in order to collect Travis. As with many rentals, we got something bigger than we reserved because that was what they's not too big though, and so far it has treated us well. Grant is getting back into the hang of driving a stick shift and Bonnie is navigating us through the mountain roads. The scenery today was just beautiful. So much green! We saw tons of paragliders and a few hang gliders ...

We are suckered in and end up buying two bottles between us; luckily for us you do get a free lemon, so it was €24 well spent. After our day in Sorrento, we all need a rest so we relax by the big pool near our complex before trying out the nearby restaurant for dinner. The staff are lovely and the service is very personal. We are recommended local food and take them up on ...
