Well, the trip has come to an end.

Today we flew back to Calgary. I am sad that its over. The really was the trip of a lifetime and I am so glad that I was able to go on it.

Having been to the Fish River Canyon in Namibia which is supposedly third, I suspect there is some liberty being taken in these claims as I'm not sure where the Grand Canyon is supposed to fit in, but regardless, it was fantastic to see and experience. ... take hours to get your grocery shopping done here, it is so big. Knew what we wanted but it took ages to locate one item. Nice room, but we will be catching the train into to town tomorrow rather than deal with city traffic. It is interesting here as it is so flat, there are no reference points to orientate yourself. We are close to the airport but have not had any noise from it. Haven't taken any photos today at all, as I didn't take the iPad with me on our walk. Should be back ...
