    What a night!!! We were so relived to be out of Death Valley and actually feel air that was under 100 degrees.

    Darren was up early taking pictures of the sunrise and then decided to just keep driving towards our next stop, Sequoia Tree National Park. It was about 3.5 hours drive to go and he let me sleep in the sweet.

    ... then a bit further down the path saw a wild cat (not a lion but about twice the size of a domestic cat) walk across the path ahead of us. My heart was really thumping by then.     ... be 2,200 years old and its largest branch is almost 7 feet in diameter. Absolutely amazing, we felt so small and insignificant among these giants of the forest. We climbed almost 400 concrete steps, straight upward to reach the top of Moro Rock and arrived at the top to an awe inspiring view- BREATHTAKING!!!! WOW! Both Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks are a must for your travel list!
