We got up and met Mikey before he went to school at 7:30am and then we played with Coco until she had to go to school at 8:30am. Jeremy made us pancakes for breakfast and then we had a chat to Katie about what to do next. The general consensus seemed to be to take it easy.

Then we discovered we had left our iPad on the plane. Dad was not very impressed - particularly when we ...

... real doozies like the Breakers Hotel which we also drove by.

Flagler was a Standard Oil Magnate who is responsible for the Seven Mile Bridge running down the Keys and, if you remember my comment about the fellas who cut through the mangroves in the Everglades while building the railway and abandoned the job when they realized they were off course or something like that... that was a Flagler project too. We stuffed a cooler full of beer, packed some sandwiches and were on our way. We met the Harrisons and our other guest Caleb (see "Tippins Sisters Reunion" entry) at the dock and boarded the Infinity with Captain Charlie Burns and first mate Michael for ...

I almost forgot to mention the Christmas caroling I did with Dr. Phil on the Piano and some friends in the Piano Lounge on Panama Canal transit day. It was a lot of fun! I sang "The Christmas Song" as a solo and “What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?” as a duet with my friend Mallory.

The second to last evening on The Explorer, there was a premier performance of SAS—The Musical. It was written and composed by students and it was fabulous! It ...

On May 17th we departed Great Harbour in the Berry Islands for Lake Worth, Florida, a straight line distance of approx. 130 nm. We were looking forward to getting back to the US sooner rather than later. But timing this passage was a matter of choosing the "least worse" weather window as we were confronted with the choice of tacking upwind in forecasted 10-15 kts the whole way (increasing the overall distance we had to cover) if we left that day ...
