Oh my, this place is beautiful. Set on the beach with awesome sea views. They sent a shuttle to pick us up from the airport and we were delivered to the door step in no time. My room is the standard room, with partial seaviews and a super comfy bed with feather pillows. The room is spacious and clean and freshly decorated. I have all the facilities I need including Wi fi and cable TV. What more could I want?

I'd been out for dinner with some friends, which turned into a few drinks out on the town. We ended up drinking back at the hotel bar until the early hours with a couple of girls we'd found. Having driven there initially, I was in no state to drive home so I drunkenly "negotiated" a room for the night. A very reasonable £80 had me in a nicely decorated double room. I noticed in the morning that it was a little on the compact side, however it served the purpose. Breakfast was good and included in the price.

Public services were also segregated and blacks and Indians were left the worst services. This was the most interesting museum I've ever been. It was founded in 1994 shortly after the end of racial segregation imposed by then president Frederik Willem de Klerk and is a museum that carries emotion. Much art that marked the time made me easily feel ...

How horrible, and poor Louise had to phone her children to tell them. She came to dinner at Adams while Dave stayed here waiting for all the authorities to sort things out at the neighbour's house. Understandably Louise seemed pretty shaken up, especially after her nephew died only a few weeks ago too. It ...

... they do here called Market day, where students pay R7 (about 0.70 cents) and in groups of 2,3 or 4 they have a stall where they sell stuff for an afternoon after school. The main requirement is that their product be home made. The day is for May 10th so I get to be here for it! Students from grade 4 to grade 7 can participate.
All told, an excellent start to my third week!
