Oh my, this place is beautiful. Set on the beach with awesome sea views. They sent a shuttle to pick us up from the airport and we were delivered to the door step in no time. My room is the standard room, with partial seaviews and a super comfy bed with feather pillows. The room is spacious and clean and freshly decorated. I have all the facilities I need including Wi fi and cable TV. What more could I want?

I'd been out for dinner with some friends, which turned into a few drinks out on the town. We ended up drinking back at the hotel bar until the early hours with a couple of girls we'd found. Having driven there initially, I was in no state to drive home so I drunkenly "negotiated" a room for the night. A very reasonable £80 had me in a nicely decorated double room. I noticed in the morning that it was a little on the compact side, however it served the purpose. Breakfast was good and included in the price.

... Table Mountain National Park. It really is the worlds most beautiful marathon and we were flying up Champans Peak which is 4 kms of climbing passing everyone in our stride. To look back around the blind corners and see thousands of people in front and behind as well as the most beautiful water we both had ever seen was inspiring. We hit the top to the sounds of African drums and a big band to start the long descent into Hout Bay. It was about this time that ...

Chapman's Peak can be found at the height of 593 meters. The route itself is 9 kilometers long and has 114 curves. Today was another great day! We started out with breakfast at the hostel like usual. We then had a bit of free time before meeting at 10 to plan with our groups for when we get to Johannesburg. We also got into other groups for preparation for an event we have planned next week with the economic justice network. I'm in the group talking and learning about trade. After that, we went to the grocery store for lunch. I shared soup with someone else on the trip. ...

... students. So it would not be considered a totally private school, but neither is it totally public. Here this is known as a "B" grade school. Another example of British influence is for each grade they have about 3 or 4 different classes and then a department head for the whole grade. I will be teaching grade four, and there are 3 other grade four classes. These would be referred to as 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4. The ...
