... S. for quite a while.
It has turned quite cloudy, previewing what is to come weather wise as we join the rest of our continent with somewhat poopy weather connected to the huge mass of low pressure coming in off the Pacific Ocean.
Perhaps we'll have rain tomorrow, or maybe not, we have to wait and see, but overcast clouds mean that weather is changing around ...

... enroute is how clear the air is in the desert – dust storms excluded! At one point on the drive we can see features 115 miles away in one direction and 90 miles away in the opposite direction.

Page........Ahhhhh, a G & T............. after a refreshing ale to wash the dust of the journey from the throat of course!

... to the golf course and basically play whenever we want. Bob bought a season membership so he can golf for no additional cost. I use a punch card which works out to $15 for nine holes. We are both in leagues and play with friends in the park a few times a week. I go to aquacize most mornings and we sometimes go to the hot tub after dinner and Bob really finds it helps his back aches.

... very tall metal transmission towers that support 240,000 volt lines. No jobs were available near their home so he is now temporarily employed in this area. He hopes to retire in March.

Most of the folks aren't here for work. Most are retirees ranging in age from their 50's all the way up to close to 90 years of age. As one travel blogger elegantly stated "We are not here on vacation, we are here to escape the cold winter at home". ...
