I had made many a trips to Big Bear during the snowboarding season being that it is really the only place you can do a day trip from Vegas. However a few times we got the luxury of having a place to crash for the night. Only Teresa and I would somehow manage to be able to make a crash pad out of Oscar de la Hoyas Big Bear cabin and training compound. The two of us and usually 15 or so of the worlds best fighters under one roof..... we consider ourselves very lucky ladies :)

We hang out as the sun sets listening to more Kirtan and sip a yerba mate. Looking forward to fancy yerba in Argentina. All weekend Mary prepares me for my trip informing me and sharing her stories. ... both of us did but sometimes getting up and moving seems harder then staying somewhere that we like just okay. Especially when we aren't feeling great. So we made it a good time, going on walks, finding new playgrounds almost everyday. Swimming all the time. Isa now swims the length of the pool, diving and cavorting like a dolphin. She is going to direct 12 Angry Men which Gar loves so she asked him to try out. As Amy said, "A Gar is Born". The title of this entry actually came from Gar himself. ... 30 (Yep, it took an hour to make the 5 mile bus trip and wander around trying to find the way into the Hertz car rental office), I had yet to activate the new credit card needed to hire the car. I explained my predicament to the woman on the customer services desk who tried to help me.
