    ... that even if the train does arrive at 4am when it was now scheduled, it was better to try and get a bit of sleep on an actual bed. So we piled ourselves in a taxi to the Hotel Periyar. Now I wasn't expecting the Ritz for £4 a night BUT I wasn't expecting prison. This was the worst place I have ever seen in my life and that's the honest truth.     ... for Nepali workers heading overseas to work, but us foreigners go through the first security quickly and find the Silk Air ( Singapore Airlines) Checkin counter, get our Boarding Passes, and head up stairs through Immigration, passports stamped as leaving Nepal 14th December, then another security check and the shops. It all feels a little surreal to be leaving for home, the 3 weeks has seemed like we've been gone for 6 months, very little thought of work, ...

    ... here. They are amazing, they learn Nepali in like 2 minutes and are incredibly hard workers. If you want something done send in the Japanese! We do a lot of walking out in service , hours of it. We really do resemble locusts as our large group arrives in the village we get a lot of curious onlookers perhaps wondering what these Nepali , Japanese , and white people are all doing together. It's a really nice change of pace from what I'm used to back home. ...
