      ... was not a shop, a restaurant or a bar open anywhere late on a Sunday afternoon, grrrr. Not a good start. At least the hotel has a bar and restaurant so decision made. We had a pint of local Monaco beer at €10 each so only one thanks very much. We headed back to our room where I soaked in the bath for a bit, oh heaven.       ... views, and we were in Monaco!! Of course our map wasn't detailed enough to find our hotel so we just cruised around and found ourselves on the Grand Prix track which was pretty cool. James enjoyed driving through the famous tunnel, and the kids recognised parts of the track from Madagascar 3 and Cars 2!!
