... jet set atmosphere, the vehicles parked outside were like you see in the movies. The Casino was used in several James Bond movies due to its glamorous and elegant Belle Époque building. We tried our luck at the slot machines and had a drink at the restaurant Le Cafe de Paris which was inside the Casino. ... for three hours. Our tour guide was excellent and pointed out all the Grand Prix facts as well as information about the area we were in. We enjoyed our tour but by the time we got back our feet were starting to hurt and we were all hot and sweaty! Monte Carlo nice place to visit, but wouldn't want to live there. Tomorrow is Toulon, I haven't told Danielle yet that tomorrow includes about two hours of walking. Hopefully by tomorrow she will be over ...
... all. After snapping a few (hundred) pictures we made our way to a shopping centre. Chandeliers and marble everywhere!! We went into a few stores but I felt extremely under dressed in my jeans and birks. We went into a store called Forever Monte-Carlo and I found a really cute dress for Cate, however it was 1350 euros.......sorry Cate, I love you but I wasnt prepared to pay that much.
