Leaving today but not flying until 5.20 got checked in. Will be 11.20 at home. Left hotel around 10.30. Called into Port Washngton for a couple of hours parked up. There was a market on. It was mainly veg and fruit. Very unusual looking pumpkins etc. No good buying anything now. But worth a look. We called at a cafe and had a sandwich and drink sitting outside. Left about 1.30 and set off for Chcago. Arrived at car rental n the airport ...

... t feel fast-paced. Mind you, we were there on a weekend in the summer. Maybe, when their legislature is in session, it’s a different story. On Saturdays, for instance, they have a large farmers’ market which goes for blocks, encircling their gorgeous capitol building. We wandered from stand to stand, sampling the various offerings, and buying ingredients for a later picnic. There was a mind-numbing assortment of cheeses ...

... out and went straight to bed. This morning we slept in and then we went on a search to find an ornament. We first went to the Milwaukee Downtown Information Center only to find it closed so we looked online and it had listened Kloiber Jewelers (a local jewelry store) as a place that also sold them, so we headed over that way. Milwaukee has an ornament series that chooses a building each year to represent the city in the ornament. When we got there we met the ...

... one time hit the seat in front of me and hit my hand and flew at the back....Al and Rich did not even catch the ball for me! All I got out of it was a sore and bruised hand! Unfortunately ...the Brewers lost by 2. Oh well the St Louis Cardinals were better on the night. They play 3 games over three nights....I suppose it saves the travelling during the season. We got home about 11.30pm...had a few drinks..then off to ...

... There are 4 bands at any time plu another big stadium where you pay extra to see the head line acts.

Tonight, in one of the free venues, the Dobbie Brothers are playing at 9pm

The food was disappointing - all fried and basically burgers, chips and pizza's. Poor selection of alcohol with 2 wines and 4 beers so after a walk around and collecting our HOG pin; a few photos; we all went back to the hotel, exhausted.
