... successfully with the help of a few friendly people. Germans are very helpful and if you ask for assistance go out of their way to get you to where you want to go. We arrived at the cruise boat successfully and were ushered on board to our cabin. I was initially disappointed with the view of concrete from our French balcony (see photo) until Rosanne pointed out we were still in dock! ... trying to keep the hatred alive. Also chatted to the guy behind the bar at hotel Wyndham. He is a Bulgarian engineer who is working in hospitality to improve his English language skills, so he can get a job in IT here in Germany. ... amp; as soon as you have finished another one is served & a mark on your mat keeps tally of how many you have drunk. The idea is that the beer is always 'fresh'...cool & freshly drawn. Worked well..J had an impressive number of marks......

... not dampen our cruise. Along the way the countryside is dotted with little towns and castles. We have never seen so many castles before, what a fairy-tail sight. Our boat was called the 'Loreley' and what a pretty little things she was. As we boarded we saw the beauty of her inside, see the pictures posted. We set sail for an hour cruise, meandering up and down the Rhine, what a life! After we disembarked, we bordered the bus to our 'Be My Guest' dinner date. ...

... I did manage to check out the craft stalls and purchase a few items.  I was blown away by the handiwork exhibited by all of the vendors.  You could tell that the items were crafted with care.
