6 weeks left here in benidorm before a flying visit back home to see everyone then im off to Thailand, Oz and Fiji for a few months travelling.
Currently loving the 'dorm, its probably the most random and bizzare place to rep and although its a bit quiet at the moment having amazing nights out with the rest of the fantastic team we have here, still time to come and see me!!!
... part in all parts of the process and to taste it after-wards!!! [ The sourdough pasta madre that is used is already 11 years old and comes from a Christian community near Alcoy. Jordy learned to bake amazing organic sourdough bread and can support himself and the project with this. He offered us a part of sourdough to take ...
Alcoy, Valencian Country, Spain and Canary Islands holadiyo... before reaching the top (cursed our flip-flops) and opted for an easier path that led to the furthest point out to sea. The views were fantastic, and Sophie managed to pet a seagull despite my warnings that it might have the swine flu.

... wasn't quite so magical, was our trip to the Central Salud (Medical Centre), after-hours emergency department when Brad cut his head open. Lots of blood, and quite a gaping wound, looked worse than it was. As much as the Spanish people love the children, they don't really give out the whole 'teddy bear' attention when it comes to medics. Brad was straight in to see the doctor (more or less), she had a good look, shaved his hair, and promptly ...
Benissa, Valencian Country, Spain and Canary Islands foremanFirst of all I can´t believe we actually survived the night. Whats more is that the lizards and cockroaches running around didnt go near me. Thats a good start.
Never see famous people in England , yet you cycle 1500 miles to a supermarket in the middle of Spain you find Tony Robbinson. Amazing. Then we ate big food ...

Looking for a camping spot we noticed a very small crumbling abandoned building. What a great place to sleep. Little bit worrying about the old matress that was there though. Probably a hang out for crack addicts. But waking up to a mental crack head is not as bad as most of our other nights so we went for it.

... it was at the people running or the crazy kiwi tourists infront of them!
Once the run was finished they let one bull at a time into the arena, where about 100 guys (in their 20s & 30s) waited in the middle to be amateur matadors. After chasing round people for a while, the bull would either jump into the sea to be rescued by the waiting boat, or if after 10 min no jumping would be led out by an old steer.
The first bull flipped one guy ...
... was not where I remembered. So I went back home to grab my laptop and catch the bus. I couldn´t open the door. I rang the bell and woke up my German roommate who let me in. I basically had time to introduce myself and leave again - I´ll meet him officially later. I got on the right bus and found the uni, and after a tense period of trying to explain my ...
