... my laptop usable and never have I been so happy to stumble upon Brazils answer to PC world. Just £8 lighter I was back in the game. Thankfully I also managed to speak to our house sit hosts who agreed to order and pay for a new keyboard to get my laptop fixed, yay I love it when a plan comes together.
Having a house was bliss, we had sky TV with a good selection of English channels and I managed to watched at least 100 episodes of the FBI Files on ID ...

We arrived in Belo Horizonte, state of Minas Gerais from Rio after a LONG 9 hour bus journey, however the reclining leather seats made it a bit easier to endure !
When we arrived here we went to a local restaurant and sampled the local drink- "Capriana" and a meat plate recommended by a very friendly waitor- both turned out to be delicious!!
... sat in the same lucky seats, and chose the same lucky team name! The questions were a little harder this time and we started terribly. After the 4th round we were sitting in 4th place out of 8 teams. It didn't look good for the reigning champs. However, after dominating our bonus round and then having near flawless rounds following, we somehow managed to defend out title and take home the win again!

The family of them consisted of a ridiculous amount of cute babies who were playing around in the trees and annoying their parents. We sat around here for a while taking photos before heading to Praca da papa to take in the view of the city. We watched some kids making a skating video, but they weren't very good.
I got a job today working as an English teacher. Exactly what I was doing my TEFL course for, and exactly why I decided to settle down here for a little while- To get some experience teaching English and not feel like I've wasted nearly a year and a half just travelling and getting drunk.
My job is about 15 minutes form home on the bus, and I work with a cool boss Marcio who is no doubt gonna help me with my Portuguese ...
