    ... tourist destination but clearly in May it's too early and the place looks pretty empty and sea is cold judging by the screams we can hear from the beach.Tomorrow we drive north again to Balchik, lets be honest only really to play golf! But I see it has a botanic garden so I shall give that a visit. Climatically we have gone back a month and the wild flowers were just splendid in the national park (Annie). ...

    Today the Christmas box team took the highway East 250 miles to Burgas to begin our distributions. On the way, we stopped to see our old friend Marianna Dimitrova, who is an ex-pupil of Lipnitsa Orphanage/School. The Trussell Trust worked together with Mr Petkov, Lipnitsa's headteacher, to help Marianna escape an abusive family situation. It's really good to see her with a family of her own now and working in her village ...
