... a giant cloud. I guess we forgot what the sun on the equator feels like and how quickly it can toast us up.

Back at Katherine and Bruno's place we had some Nasi Goreng (fried rice) that was homemade by Martina. It was amazing. The best I have ever had. She made a huge bowl for us and we ate every last grain of rice in it. With full bellies we sat down again and did a repeat of this morning (except I just played around on the internet while John did some job ...

... also just got into some taxis as a massive rain and thunder storm set in. The roads literally turned into rivers as the rain teemed down from the the dark grey sky. We had all decided to go to the Hard Rock Cafe, some of the truckers collect various memorabilia from Hard Rock Cafés around the world, I had never been to one and Jane was open to the idea on this occasion. We wandered in and turns out, it was the other wing, connected to the main museum by a huge open archway. Why no-one had thought it just point at it is beyond ...

... storage wars threw up. Vendors trying to get your attention to get you into their "store" while they stare at you and try to show you things as you're looking.

One good thing is I don't mind people in my personal space. One bad thing is I can't get it and get out like I normally do when I shop. Here's to adjusting to longer shopping trips than planned and lots of liquor requirements when I go to other places and have visitors. That may be the only way I can survive.
