We had a few days in Bangkok, mainly eating and drinking. We were both a bit tired of sight-seeing so don't have much to report. Of course we went for a wander down Khaosan road, but it’s really built for tourists and not our kind of scene.

Our Thai journey started a the
Thai/Cambodia border crossing at Poipet...it took an age and was
quite confusing. We had chosen a bus company to get us across (as

Very reasonable for the price! Room is very small, however you have a tv and air conditioning. The staff didn't speak much English but were very friendly and always happy to help. 7 eleven just around the corner, and a few minutes walk from Khao San Road. Hotel is located down an alleyway, so was quite hard to find as our Taxi driver had to get out and ask people for directions to the hotel. One thing that was annoying was what we believed to be a Mosque close by that would start playing prayers out at about 5am for about half an hour!! But that wasn't the hotels fault. The shower is a shower head above the sink, was a bit strange at first but after travelling around Thailand we realized this was quite normal! I would return as it was so cheap and I believe it was reasonably priced for what we were provided!
