Some ignored us, and some curiously came up to us. One wrestled with Scott’s shoe, and another one tried to pull down my shorts. I was in Monkey heaven. We then had lunch at a local restaurant off of the resort in the town area called “Walking Street.” Afterwards, we explored the surrounding shops. There was a shirt I ...

"You picked a good one. This is the most beautiful tropical place I've ever been to", I say (I'm not sure if that's saying much since I haven't been to a lot of tropical places). This might be second for my all time favorites. We bask in the sun for several hours watching the sun ...

So I get the impression that today is going to be one of those days that i remember for the rest of my life. Not because it was particularly fun or anything- which it was, but i got to really see how some of the Thai people live. As beautiful as this resort is, it's boring. We're really far from everything... our only choice is to eat hotel food and drink around the pool and the beach is protected. i guess thats why these guys built the biggest pool in Thailand. So we ...
