      ... port, but parked next to us are 2 Japanese naval ships with helicopters on board. We watched the crew training and doing exercises on the deck and busily going about their duties. We had to get out on to the bow of our ship and get a closer look. We waved and waved and so did the minion, but they were far to busy to wave back which was a shame.

      I plan to take a bus from Battambang to the Poipet border to cross into Thailand in a couple of days. It's about 100 kilometers from Battambang. A tuk tuk will pick me up at 5:30 a.m. and take me to the bus station.
