... sanctuary. We assumed this was protection from the many workers who were up on the scaffolding having to continuously refurbish the Sanctuary, but no, it turns out they are to protect you from the Dove **** - as the Chinese guy (and almost me) on our tour unfortunately found out! ... I managed to get Marc to save the day and eat mine, although I didn't hear him complain! After the dive we enjoyed an early seafood dinner and some refreshing cocktails at a posh outdoor spot on the strip. We laughed at the silly antics of the Russians who are the main tourists to the beach town. We started planning our scuba certification trip to come this year, then headed back, directly, to ...

... to meet Joy, or Jintanapron,as was her real Thai name and spend some time with her, sight seeing around Pattaya. She was beautiful and we got along famously. I miss her very much but the reality was that I was in Thailand on a much planned travel backpack journey and wasn't sure when I was going to be back. I had told her this from the beginning, but still was sad when our time in Pattaya had come to its natural end. Such are things in life.
