Comfortable hotel walking distance from Don Muang airport.

Only downside-has twin beds pushed together-no king. Also the mugs in the room are for right-handed people-not so good if you're left handed!

    Ok ... Fit for purpose

The stay was pleasant. It was purely a stopover for a flight the following day but we had time to eat and enjoy the pool area. Hotel was very clean throughout

It's a bit of a shame that it is such a large and lovely hotel as I got the impression that it is always going to just be a stopover hotel. There's not much in the local area to make me stay longer.

Food was ok, drinks were usual hotel prices for thailand. The walkway across to and from the airport was fab!

One thing to mention if you have a connecting flight, We flew into BKK and landed at 5.20am after getting our bags we left the airport and got on the free airport shuttle bus to DMK. We just showed our boarding pass for our flight to krabi, it didn't matter that it was the following day.
They dropped us at Don Muang airport and we used the walkway to get to the hotel ... quick easy and free travel from BKK to this hotel.

It is located next to DMK airport. It is spacious, clean and quite comfortable for an overnight stay. However service is something to be improved definitely.

Only issue we had here was 2 rooms were booked and paid for but the paperwork was only done for one, soon sorted and 2 rooms checked in. Big hotel situated opposite Don Muang airport, connected by bridge on first floor. Has large swimming pool and huge roooms

Across the road from the airport (over a covered walkway), very convenient. All staff helpful. Large clean roomwith a kingsize bed for 2 adults and a 6yr old to share, very comfortable. Missed out on breakfast due to an early morning flight. Would definately recommend this hotel

Landed in Bangkok at Suvarnabhumi airport at 19.00hrs and found the shuttle bus to Don muaeng airport easily. We'd done a bit of reading beforehand so knew we had to find gate 3. The bus ride was about 50mins from airport to airport. All very smooth running. Spent the night in Amari Don muaeng airport hotel, which was very comfortable, the security …

Saigon and the end of our time in Vietnam

It is our last day in Vietnam today :-(

After breakfast I set off on foot by myself to explore the city streets, it was still early so the boys stayed back at the hotel for a couple of hours. We only had today to explore Saigon so I wasted no time. I had a map and just walked around for a couple of hours. I love the madness; motorbikes, …

Up and off to the airport - this time via minivan - much better tan one tuktuk. Short flight to Bangkok, not even enough time for a snooze. Walk across the bridge to our hotel, then out for some lunch and retail therapy. Back to the hotel for a swim and dinner. So many channels on the TV but nothing much in English. Up for buffet breakfast, and off …

Out for a stroll locally. Avoided the centre due to protests. Wat / crematorium -closed & only people there were military/police. Shopping mall which only sold beauty products-they obviously use a lot of lipsticks & soap here! Checked out where we fly from tomorrow & somewhere to eat outside the hotel for this evening. Off to the pool …

My fiance Aaron & I, love Thailand.

Aaron teaches and trains in Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) and aside from that, our obsession with Thai food is getting out of hand.

Having travelled to Krabi twice previously, we knew that it was time to see more of the country that we love so much...

After months of planning our month …
