... dive. This is restricted to how many many metres you can go down. Our instructor Phil took us through the diving essentials and the use of the regulator and scuba gear. We ended up doing two dives, both great. Had lunch on the boat. Visibility very clear and many types of fish and sea life to be seen. Interesting mixture in the diving group, US, UK, German, Thai. It is amazing how much you learn just doing two dives. Just working out at which level in the ...

The evening’s entertainment was ‘hosted’ by Tim…..… was so cringingly awful it was hilarious. Dressed in a tropical shirt, a dapper straw boater, Tim was rather camp in presenting the ‘acts’ including some awful games for children which had parents up in ...

'Crazy Town - Is that a girl?'

We caught a local bus from Rawai to Patong which was a fraction of the price for a taxi. When we arrived we had to find some accommodation which took a while but we ended up finding a pretty sweet for for under 10!

Walking around Patong is like going through a Australian bogan town. It is basically set up for the Australian/New Zealand tourist who come over for 1-2 weeks.

... to Koh Pee Pee for Thursday. After the Long Tail Boat adventure on Koh Lipe last Saturday, we convinced ourselves this would be better.

After our shower, we went back into Nai Yang for dinner and the usual Mangum for dessert. We were back at the hotel by 10 p.m. and in bed by 10:30.

As we plan a day-trip to Koh Pee Pee, another sailing adventure awaits.
