Firstly, a Happy Diwali and New Year to those celebrating and reading our blog. Although Bali is primarily populated by Hindu people, Diwali is not celebrated at the same time (or in the same manner) as that of India given the Balinese calendar is different. As you can see from the picture, we have lit our own candles and celebrated with a nice meal, although are missing the fireworks.
