... br> The briefing was, well, brief. We were going to drive 220 kilometers out to Jebel Musa, climb it starting at 11:30 PM, and then wait at the top for sunrise so we could take our pictures and climb down. It was going to be cold at the top—I hoped so, because I was wearing thermals and it was 90 degrees in the bus. I'm constantly amazed by the size and workmanship in these structures. How could they put them up with the limited technology they had in those ...

Tired but quite proud, sitting in the light of the setting sun, I am an advanced open water diver! Today's dives were lovely, saw my first turtle which was gigantic! Wish I had my camera again, going to have to get on top of that. Tomorrow I'm going on a boat trip to a place called Gabr El Bint. Apparently the diving is absolutely beautiful and I'll definitely take the camera on that one! Have to get up at 5 45 ...

... most of there morning extra time inside because it was just too yucky outside. Again we got the best deal.

The hotel is spectacular. The room has a balcony that overlooks the Dead Sea. Very similar to the room we had in Port Macquarie but in Egypt lol.

We went into town for dinner. I had Mexican calamari and Al had a veggie targine. Both meals were delicious.

Hit the sack exhausted and we both slept like stones. So begins a couple of days of absolute ...
