... morning, we exchange greetings and she tells me she's going to die in dahab in a thick German accent (she's not trying to be funny, just depressed :-( ). I did 2 dives here. Dahab's dive sites are shore dives, where you waddle into the sea with all your gear on. There are some coral reefs here off the coast, but the major attraction is underwater landscape. I dived the "canyon", which is a 32m dive where you fit your body through a narrow hole as you descend, almost ...

... Plus - the men goggle at me enough with my clothes on. They actually stop whatever they're doing and just stare which is fine but I still believe I would be inviting trouble if I got down to my string bikini when there are no other girls around me doing the same thing. It was just a **** tour. They should have provided wetsuits like I saw all the other snorkellers at the Blue Hole wearing. It kind of sucks that I didn't get to ...

... which lets me dive SS Thistlegorm.

The Blue Hole was crazy, both times i went we entered at Bells which is like a giant slippery slide which shoots out at 25m. You stop, look around and all you see is a giant wall which spans from the surface to as far down as you can see (it’s actually a 300m drop). You then swim along the wall until you drop over a ...
