... fine. We just stick to the shallow edges. The most difficult part for us is getting in and out of the water because of the rocks.

Loved the relaxed atmosphere at the Tiatanic, where we got our snorkeling gear. (Yes, that's the way they spelled it.) The place is overrun with beautiful cats.

... are not pets. Yes, they snuggle up to you and sit in your lap and purr and such when you do not have food about, but if you do…. Watch out. These cats are creatures of instinct, cunning and adept in the art of thievery. Just this morning I had a cat jump up and grab my freshly peeled hard boiled egg right off my plate. Okay, but how did she know it was peeled? That’s clever.

Later, she crawled up in my lap for a nap.

... masse sol, Malte fik mest skygge. Der var naesten helt tomt, og vi havde det mange gange helt for os selv.

Vi arrangerede at afslutte vores 'advanced open water' kursus med hotellest dykkershop, og en tur til Thistlegorm, som er det skibsvrag vi har skrevet om tidligere. Dykkene gik fint, men vores instruktoer synes ikke at vi var helt klar til at tage til Thistlegorm, fordi det er et meget svaert dyk, baade pga. stroem og fordi ...

... dinner at 10pm. After dinner we collected our room keys and headed off to prepare for bed which I finally fell into at 12:15am - a full 24 hours since I struggled out the day before!
What an epic day it was: climbed a mountain in Egypt, drove to the Red Sea, boarded a ferry to Jordan, passed through border controls of both countries, drove a good distance from the sea to Petra in Jordan - a BIG day, but was it fun or what... bring it ...

Finally the bit I had been dreading was
upon us, the 750 steps to the top. We began and I died. They weren’t even
proper steps it looked like a rock fall that we had to navigate. Slowly slowly,
dripping with sweat even in the night breeze I finally made it to the top as
the red lines began appearing on the horizon. Couldn’t find/didn’t look for the
group because I physically couldn’t walk anymore I plonked ...
