Spent two nights on Kapas then decided i'd head up to Kota Bharu before heading back to Kuala Lumpur. Caught the 10am boat back to Marang but annoyingly then had to wait until 12:15pm for a local bus back to Terengannu {RM2.50}. I then had to wait until 2pm for the next express bus {RM17} up to Kota Bharu which instead of taking 3hrs took 3hrs 45mins due to traffic congestion along the way. It was awesome, all around us, as far as the eye could see were hundreds and thousands of fish! And they went down for miles too. About ...

... it was the last boat of the day and he wanted to get everything done and dusted so he could get home. The urgency seemed to die off a little when the man realised he would be able to make a further commission by pre-booking a hotel for someone. His eyes lite up because they weren't backpackers, but wanted a fairly decent room or bungalow. The arrangements were swiftly made and he said they had got the last room by booking through him..of course they did. So with the ...

... which is cheap and basic. Just what I was looking for. The Lonely Planet didn't mention that there are two with the same name but different management. So I ended up in the KB Backpackers Inn which was where it was supposed to be on the map. On the other side of the road there was the KB Backpackers hostel, which claimed to be THE ORIGINAL. Of course I saw the original only when I ...
