    Our next stop was to Ximen station. There is a market just outside the station and we walked around. It was still quite hot outside so we went to eat iced desserts. The place was pretty packed, but the dessert was quite nice. It was the perfect afternoon snack for a blistering hot day!

    ... on the agenda of 'things-to-do" was to get my SIM card for Taiwan. I went across the street, but the store was all sold out. They referred me to down the street but the next store was also sold out T.T. Luckily, there were two other telecom stores next door that had SIM cards available. I opted for a cheap $10 USD unlimited data plan for 5 days. This way I won’t have any trouble getting lost or finding cool new places to check out while on the move!

    ... food place to sit and eat in to celebrate! We had some sort of roll, like a fajita pitta bread sort of roll, with beef and onions in, which was also delicious! (perhaps a bit too much onion...not very sociable for the rest of the evening!).

    ... and snake blood. I jumped at the chance to try it. I went to one of the places and ordered snake soup. The soup arrived quickly. It was light brown with three bits of snake meat in it. To be honest, the snake tasted really good. Along with the soup also came three shot glasses with different liquids inside. One red, one green, and one white. The red one was blood. It had a slight alcohol taste but it wasn't bad. ...
