... feel good about our plan to rent bikes when we saw hundreds of serious road cyclists out beating the traffic and the heat. Our taxi driver helped us find a bike rental place and we were off along the causeway into the Pacific. On one side was the city skyline and on the other ship traffic for the canal. A highlight was a stop to hike into the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute marine reserve on Point Culebra. Displays of marine life were nice, but spotting birds ...
... That evening, also as luck would have it, the city's fourth best restaurant (according to TripAdvisor) was just around the other corner. We made a reservation for about 7:30 and with that our luck turned a little south. They have patrolling police and security guards here so we decide to find a table and chill out for a ...
... 11. The Rangers desk - a very lowly contraption to begin with - has been converted into a full service bar. A buffet would soon be served and the spa staff was ready to start massages on the beach. Then come the Ladies. And I do mean Ladies - this beautiful vessel was full of an all-lesbian contingent. OMG, too much fun. We even met a gal from the town next to us - Aptos. The world has become waaay, tooooo, smalllll.
Meanwhile, we ate our last food bars, sipped our ...
