... in front of a pretty water feature. We stopped for a spot of lunch outside by the lake, at one of the Garden's many restaurants. A quick photo in a giant pair of clogs that Ness spotted, and then it was time to head to Amsterdam. Once Ness had worked out which button to press on the car park intercom system to get Mini Phil and us inside, and once we'd managed to find our way back out of the confusing car park on foot with our bags in tow, we then found ...

We had the rare treat of sleeping in, and had a late breakfast at 9am. For those of us that felt confident enough we could go on a guided bike tour of Amsterdam. Most of us were keen and we only had to pop over the road to get our bikes and our guides.

... dinner from a local restaurant. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Tomorrow morning we are going to the Van Gogh museum after breakfast and plan to spend the day looking at paintings and cultural activities! I can hardly wait. On Friday we will go to the Rijks museum which just recently opened after being refurbished and is quite a well renowned museum here in Amsterdam and all over the world for that matter.

Hope all is well at home and see you soon.

As novices to Business Class flying, this flight was a totally pleasant experience. We were overwhelmed by the attention to detail to the passengers' every possible need, the excellent service, including access to the airlines' club lounge facilities, not to mention the abundance of food of gourmet quality offered at frequent intervals during our flight. This has definitely been a worthwhile investment and a great way to begin what promises to be a ...
