    ... get to Tanzania and back, we came home with four houses each. We first encountered these little houses years ago at a silent auction held for the benefit of the Beach Cities Symphony where we bid on, and won, about a dozen of them. I could never quite figure out what they were or where they came from. And the web wasn't what it is today, so my search efforts came up with nothing. What can I say? We love'em!

    ... Cake and then go to the movies and see a funny film. Shikha, Tahlia and I bought a muffin each but David didn't partake as he is a pilot and would probably be drug tested in the near future and didn't want to risk it. We then ran through the rain to the cinema complex and bought our tickets for "We Are The Millers" (the new Jennifer Anniston film) then headed up the carpeted stairway to the 4th floor where our cinema was.

    ... something random and off menu from the rather busy waiter (who spoke perfectly good English to us), informed the waiter that he "should speak better English". The waiter replied "No sir, you should speak better French" and promptly walked off, leaving the American to storm out of the restaurant, completely forgetting his wife, who stayed and had a nice salad without him.
