... found a different path near the gorge, climbing bridge rails etc etc to get some decent photos.

Still alive, we traveled back to Salzburg slowly, walked the river by night and checked out the cathedral all while consuming pumpkin soup, chocolate, apple strudel and coffee.

... out of him at one stage.... even though he reckoned he didn't know the lyrics :) It was a fun tour - Wends and Lisa - you would have loved it ! and I'm sure you would have done yourselves proud during the sing-a-long bits - we were thinking about you :) Hope some of you die hard Julie Andrews fans recognise a few of the locations in the photos.... enjoy.... I'm off to watch the film again to spot some of the shots :) ...

... dingy in the world finally got a dunking as the kids played on the lake. Afterwards we showered and did pasta and pizza. The pizzeria in the campsite needs to work on its timings. 20 minute wait turned into 80 minutes. They realised they had an upset Englishman on their hands at my wait - so fed me free beer!!!!!! And tea was great. Tomorrow is Salzburg and the pleasures of the Austrian public transport system. Of its anything like the scenery I won't want to get off the ...

... as we pile into a taxi bound for the airport. The sun is still shining, but our moods are grey and dreary. Even the fact that Salzburg airport is amazingly tiny, and a final beer overlooking the runway, can’t lift our spirits for long. This has been Ma Lee’s dream for so long, and Pa Lee, Mr Fletche and I are so glad that we have been a part of making this wish come true. Time to work on that next dream ...

... you see on all the postcards......yeah right.....the fog had come down so low you could hardly see your hand in front of you. So there went our photo opportunity........damn! On the bright side we managed to get a picture of the new town when the clouds broke on the other side of the castle but as Meagan said.....we might as well be taking a photo of Johnsonville!! :)
Still, we managed to find authentic Austrian ...
