... does indeed take its day of rest seriously. So we too decide to take a short period of rest before venturing out once more in search of food.

... with detailed street signs over every entrance. Mozart's birthplace happened to be in the center of the street - the tall yellow house cannot be missed. After purchasing a few Mozartkugel (made of Marzipan, nougat, and dark chocolate), we pressed on towards Mozartplatz. Here, the streets opened up and offered amazing views of the New Residenz and Glockenspiel, Old Residenz, and the Salzburg Cathedral.

... br> Feeling thirsty afterwards, we headed for the oldest coffee shop in Salzburg where Mozart used to hang out. The coffee, (decaffeinated, of course), was delicious and, according to Mick, so was the beer. It was criminal because waitresses kept coming round with huge trays of all different cakes trying to get you to buy. My willpower is stronger than I thought.
