... oars or electric motors. We spend 2 nights here and enjoy fabulous food, including a dinner where Adam orders the Wild Boar Goulash with Dumplings. I go for the safety of the daily menu, which includes soup, vegetable strudel and blueberry cake. Delicious and nutritious, I look at horror at Adam’s dumpling as they look like they are filled with the insides of the poor wild boar. About half an into the trip we started to go through towns and pass wind farms all at very high speed. We changed trains at Attang-Pulheim . From there the scenery stats to change as you approach the mountains . ( I learnt later they are not as high as the alps at Salzburg. ) we went pass a beauTiful lake that you ...

... itinerary, Lake Altaussee. It was a rather small and isolated lake. I almost gave up on going before I coaxed the lazy Shirley away. I decided to walk there (roughly 7km), and then catch the bus back to Bad Aussee train station in time for the midday train to Bad Ischl. It was a good enough plan to get me moving.

The walk was pleasant and the path was popular with weekend joggers, trekkers and dog walkers alike, so I ...
