... to be able to sit and listen to a fellow playing the cello here - what a bonus! Also inside the garden is a Cafe with a relaxing garden setting out back. Continued our walk from here to the Marienplatz to rest our tired feet at the Market. Chatted with a lady from New Zealand but now living in Canada. Very interesting person with lots of tales to tell. Felt we had done enough walking for the day so returned to our apartment for the last time. On to Frankfurt tomorrow.

However, some still resisted the order by taking a detour through a back alleyway so that they would not have to pass the statue and perform the salute. This resistance, although small and secretive, is commemorated today by a small memorial at the corner of the alleyway and the main road.
... who were late. All of our seats weren't together like planned because they upgraded the plane to a bigger one. Sarah and I ended up sitting together...along with a crying 2 year old child next to us and some smelly old women who decided to sing choir the whole time. Needless to say it was a lonngggg trip with the ladies behind us.

Back on the bus we went to the Olympic Park and BMW Welt and Museum, the architecture was amazing, modern and futuristic. From there we to the English Garden and got off the bus at Schwabing and walked to the Garden. The garden was a oasis in the city, large trees canals and rivers going ...
